ALL TESC and outside coaches, staff, and chaperones will undergo background checks as well as a certified concussion protocol course and safe sport training classes on dealing with youth.
WHO IS STAFFING THE CAMP?
Besides the TESC Staff, the camp staff includes the owners Hector and Diane Corona, the kitchen staff, maintenance staff, and the activities staff and instructors. All staff go THROUGH background checks.
WHAT IS THE HOUSING SITUATION?
Campers will be housed in the main lodge. Rooms have 6-8 bunks with a shared private bathroom for each room. There are also additional cabins in a similar setup near the main lodge.
CAN MY CHILD PICK THEIR ROOMIES? We understand that campers may wish to come and bunk with a friend. While we strongly believe that camp is an opportunity for campers to make new friends and have new opportunities, we do our best to honor requests as follows: Each Camper can request to bunk in the same room with one other camper of the same gender within one year of age of each other. Both families/campers must also mutually request the campers to be in the same cabin group as well. Upon registering, there is a question asking roommate preference. While we make no guarantees, we will do everything we can to ensure choices. If a roommate grouping becomes problematic, we do reserve the right to switch as we deem necessary.
HOW ABOUT THE MEALS and ALLERGIES?
Located in the main lodge is the Cafeteria and kitchen. All meals are freshly prepared by the Camp Cafeteria Staff! Dietary needs and restrictions can be accommodated upon request. Every camper will be asked to fill out a medical form with all medical conditions and allergy info. Nurses on staff will address allergies with the cooking staff to accommodate the campers.
ARE PARTICIPANTS OUTSIDE OF TESC WELCOME?
We welcome all boys and girls aged 11 to 17!
ARE THERE OTHER GROUPS AT THIS CAMP THE SAME TIME AS THE TESC OVERNIGHT?
TESC has sole use of the camp, facilities, and onsite support staff for the entire week. There are no other groups that will have access during our week of camp. Players from other soccer clubs, teams, and like-minded organizations are welcome to send their players to the TESC Overnight Camp.

There is a Nurse on Staff to attend to any medical needs. There is also a local hospital approximately 15 minutes away. Lifeguards are certified and there will also be staff on site that is CPR, and first aid certified. Medication will be distributed by the nurse on site.
WHAT ABOUT AT HOME EMERGENCY SITUATIONS?
Karsten Roy and Michael D will be available via mobile phone in case of an emergency where you need to contact your child.
WHAT IS SECURITY LIKE AT THE CAMP?
Security is extremely important at camp. Our staff are in constant contact with one another, and with the camp office, via hand-held radio as well as mobile devices as back up. All visitors must stop by our office and be checked in. Anyone visiting camp during the summer also must go through a security check and are given an identifying bracelet. Visitors must also be accompanied by camp staff at all times. Our gate is locked overnight and we employ a night watch person during the summer to ensure that no unauthorized people are at camp outside of normal business hours. Any person not cleared to be at camp are immediately identified, approached, and asked to leave camp.
WHAT IS THE MOBILE PHONE POLICY?
Campers are Highly Discouraged from bringing mobile phone devices. If they do bring them, they must do so in a locked protection device and turn in upon arrival. They will only be allowed to use them under supervision for 15 minutes each evening to call home. Besides soccer, the main idea of this overnight camp experience is for campers to connect with each other and nature. They will be kept very busy and be given an incredible opportunity not easily found today. We do not assume any liability for lost or stolen items, including any mobile devices. Karsten Roy and Michael D are available for contact if you need to speak to your child in case of an emergency.
WILL THE EVENING MATCHES BE LIVE STREAMED? We will be using the advanced VEO system to stream various evening matches. Note: We reserve the right to not stream all matches, but it is our intent to stream the evening matches. This is a great opportunity for family and friends who may not normally get to see your child play!
