Ben Lewis

Ben began his soccer playing career in Elmhurst, Illinois, where he was a two-time All-Conference selection, an All-Sectional selection and an Illinois ODP State Team Participant.

After high school, Ben became a four-year starter at Millikin University. While there he gathered such accolades as Freshman of the Year, All-Conference selections, and Captain, as well as setting the record for conference points scored in a career.

After graduating with a degree in Human Services, Ben took a job at York Community High School as Men’s Assistant Soccer Coach. While serving in this role for three years, Ben also began working on his Masters Degree in Counseling at Northern Illinois University.
Ben has worked with numerous different ages helping develop players to achieve soccer success. He also helped create a soccer curriculum for coaches and trainers to use on a daily basis.  In 2010, Ben became the Technical Director for Team Elmhurst.  In this role Ben, assisted and evaluated coaches with goals developing players better.
Ben also took a year off from coaching to volunteer teaching in Ecuador. While there he was a player/coach for a Cuencan Amateur Tournament team in which they played against numerous professional Deportivo Cuenca players on a weekly basis.
Ben has worked at Elmhurst College, York High School teams, Team Elmhurst SC, LTSC and KNVB soccer camps for the past 10 years in different capacities.
